COVID-19 vaccine clinic for ages 18+ begins April 8.

SHELBY — Northwest Michigan Health Services, Inc. is collaborating with the Shelby Optimist Club to provide free COVID-19 vaccines for anyone in the community over the age of 18.

The first dose will be administered Thursday, April 8, from 10 a.m. to 4 p.m., and the second dose will be administered Thursday, May 6, from 10 a.m. to 4 p.m. at the Shelby Optimist Club, 788 Industrial Park Dr.

“We are asking that anyone who would like a vaccine to schedule an appointment per the instructions on the flyer,” said Community Health Worker Casey Kies.
