Police investigate fiery hit-and-run crash.
CRYSTAL TOWNSHIP — The Oceana County Sheriff’s Office is investigating a fiery crash that occurred on 144th Avenue near Madison Road Sunday, March 21, at 1:45 a.m. in which the driver fled the scene, said Oceana County Sheriff Craig Mast.
A Ford F 150 pickup truck was “fully engulfed” when deputies arrived on scene, said Mast. “We don’t have a reason to believe anyone was injured, but will find out out more facts soon.” Dispatch information indicated that the truck crashed into a tree.
If anyone has information, they are asked to call the sheriff’s office at (231) 873-2121.
