Kids can hunt for 10,000 eggs April 3.

HART — Children will search the Oceana County Fairgrounds for 10,000 candy-filled eggs during the Hart/Silver Lake Community Easter Egg Hunt Saturday, April 3, at noon.

The annual event is sponsored by members of the Silver Lake Sand Dunes Area Chamber of Commerce.

The Easter Bunny will be in attendance; Lewis Adventure Farm and Zoo will offer a candy cannon (weather permitting); and Country Dairy will have a cow mascot on hand.

Arrive and start lining up 11:30 a.m. with the hunt and activities beginning at noon. The hunt will feature three age categories: toddler (0-3), pre/early elementary (4-8) and elementary (8-12). Parents must accompany toddlers and early elementary youth — but only one parent per child.

The event will be held rain or shine. Please wear masks and practice social distancing.

If you would like to sponsor the event with donations, call 231-742-3883 or email
