27th Circuit Court sentencings, Feb. 10, 2021.

HART — The following were sentenced recently in 27th Circuit Court:

Hector Hugo Rincon, 33, of 5949 E. Deer Rd., Walkerville, was found guilty Oct. 19, 2020 of assaulting/resisting/obstructing a police officer and was sentenced Feb. 8, 2021 to 43 days in jail with credit for 43 days served and $198 in fines and costs. Misdemeanor charges of driving without insurance and invalid license were dismissed.
- Alexander Dean Dumas, 30, of 1314 26th St., Manistee, was found guilty Dec. 14, 2020 of methamphetamine possession and was sentenced Feb. 8, 2021 to 70 days in jail with credit for 70 days served; driver’s license suspended 180
days/restricted after 30 days; 18 months probation; and $198 in fines and costs.
- Michael James Jobbins, 40, of 3752 VanBuren Rd., Hart, was found guilty Oct. 19, 2020 of carrying a concealed weapon and was sentenced Feb. 8, 2021 to seven months in jail with credit for 146 days served and $398 in fines and costs. One count of methamphetamine possession was dismissed. “Hart Police Department seized a knife,” his court file states. “Pursuant to MCL 750.239, this weapon must be forfeited to the police agency.” Jobbins
was also found guilty of probation violation and sentenced Feb. 8, 2021 to 345 days in jail with credit for 235 days served and $458 in fines and costs. Probation, which stems from a July 29, 2019 conviction of methamphetamine possession, is revoked.
- Drew Edward Beatty, 23, of 542 Harrison, Belding, Michigan, was found guilty Oct. 19, 2020 of breaking and entering with intent and was sentenced Feb. 8, 2021 to 90 days in jail with credit for one day served; two years probation; $1,100 in restitution; and $398 in fines and costs. “Defendant must report to the Oceana County Jail on Friday, Feb. 19, 2021 at 7
p.m. to commence sentence,” his court file states.
- Shawn Ronald Alvesteffer, 26, of 2477 W. Jefferson Rd., Pentwater, pleaded “no contest” Dec. 14, 2020 to larceny $1,000-$20,000 and was sentenced Feb. 8, 2021 to three months in jail with credit for four days served; 18 months probation; $1,800 in restitution; and $458
in fines and costs. One count of methamphetamine possession was dismissed.
