78th District Court sentencings and dismissals, Jan. 29, 2021.

HART — The following were sentenced recently in 78th District Court:

  • Amanda Marie Zoulek, 33, of PO Box 366, Shelby, was found guilty Jan. 25 of third-degree retail fraud and was sentenced to 93 days suspended jail with credit for six days served and $360 in fines and costs.
  • Robert Wayne Collins, Sr.,73, of 9456 S. Oceana Dr., Montague, was found guilty Jan. 27 of excessive deer bait and was sentenced to $325 in fines and costs. One count of failure to remove from public lands was dismissed.
  • Robert Isadore Hernandez, 52, of 3149 A. Appleton Rd., Scottville, was found guilty Jan. 26 of forest fires — no burning permit and was sentenced to 90 days suspended jail and $250 in fines. Charge to be dismissed after full payment of fines and costs, court records state.
  • Timothy Lawrence Locke, 39, of 677 W. White Lake Dr., Twin Lake, was found guilty Jan. 27 of failure to wear hunter orange and was sentenced to $250 in fines and costs. Charge to be dismissed after full payment of fines and costs, court records state.
  • Joshua Dale Parker, 32, of 572 Terry St., Muskegon, was found guilty Jan. 11 of fishing without a license and was sentenced to 90 days suspended jail with credit for 90 days served and a $75 fine.
  • Gale Margaret Podstupka, 47, of 6830 N. 120th Ave., Hart, was found guilty Jan. 11 of operating while intoxicated and was sentenced to 93 days suspended jail with credit for one day served; Alcohol Highway Safety Education (AHSE); and $1,200 in fines and costs. Conviction reportable to the Secretary of State (SOS).

Dismissals

  • Justin Joseph Nesky, 40, of 713 Shawmut Blvd., NW, Grand Rapids, one count of operating an ORV on a highway/right-of-way was dismissed Oct. 15, 2020.
  • Kevin Jay Moore, 25, of 200 S. Apple St., Hart, charges of operating without insurance and operating a moped without a license were dismissed Jan. 6.
  • Madelyn C. Baker, 19, of 13627 S. Lake Dr., Plainfield, Illinois, one count of operating an ORV on a public road was dismissed Jan. 6.
  • Adam Joseph Broniewicz, 19, of 23306 W. Lake Place, Plainfield, Illinois, one count of operating an ORV on a public road was dismissed Jan. 11.
  • Jayden Christopher Gersten, 19, of 23212 W. Lake Place, Plainfield, Illinois, one count of operating an ORV on a public road was dismissed Jan. 6.
  • Daniel A. Smith, age/address unavailable, one count of domestic violence was dismissed Jan. 7.
  • Arnulfo Trevino, Jr., 41, of 3043 Wood St., Muskegon, one count of domestic violence was dismissed Jan. 4.
  • Tommy Allen Hitchcock, 41, of 412 Hart St., Hart, one count of domestic violence was dismissed Jan. 20.
  • Charles William Heil, 56, of 35 Ridgeline Dr., St. Louis, Missouri, one count of non-sufficient fund check was dismissed Ja. 11.
  • Ronald Dee Robbins, 77, of 3429 N. 72nd Ave., Hart;, one count of larceny less than $200 was dismissed Jan. 13.
  • Corydon James Smith, 32, of 393 Elm St., Shelby, charges of assault with intent to commit great bodily harm and assault and battery were dismissed Jan. 11.
