The following is recent police activity in Oceana County:
Friday, Jan. 15, 2021:
- 1:50 a.m., (Oceana County Sheriff’s Office), a 48-year-old Walkerville man was cited for no insurance and improper license plate, East Rossell Lake Road, Colfax Township.
- 2:28 a.m., (OCSO), a warrant is pending for drug possession, West M 20, Shelby Township.
- 3:55 a.m., (OCSO), a warrant is pending against a 25-year-old Walkerville man for failure to report an accident, East Winter Road, Crystal Township. No injuries occurred.
- 10:15 a.m., (OCSO), juvenile in possession of marijuana, North State Street, Village of Shelby.
- 8:49 p.m., (OCSO), a 59-year-old Montague man was arrested for carrying a concealed weapon and operating while intoxicated (OWI), East Polk Road, Elbridge Township.
Saturday, Jan. 16, 2021:
- 1:40 a.m., (Michigan State Police), a 27-year-old Shelby woman was arrested for OWI, US 31 and Winston Road, Grant Township.
- 3:45 p.m., (OCSO), a 35-year-old Hesperia man was cited for driving while license suspended (DWLS), North 144th Avenue near East Hazel Road, Elbridge Township.
Sunday, Jan. 17, 2021:
- 10:56 p.m., (OCSO), a 21-year-old Muskegon man was arrested for narcotics possession, an outstanding warrant and probation violation, West Main Street, Village of Walkerville. A 23-year-old Hart man was cited for DWLS.
Monday, Jan. 18, 2021:
- 7:30 p.m., (OCSO), larceny of a railroad tie valued at $50, South 116th Avenue, Otto Township.
