Walkerville man accused of first-degree CSC.

HART — A 41-year-old Walkerville man faces a 25-year minimum prison term if convicted of the first-degree criminal sexual conduct (CSC) charge he faces in 27th Circuit Court.

Brandon Lee Chase, of 9415 W. Grant Rd., is accused of sexually assaulting a girl who was under the age of 13 in Colfax Township, said Oceana County Prosecutor Joseph Bizon. 

The case is set for a two-day trial May 12 and 13 with a status conference conference scheduled for April 5 at 9 a.m.

Chase is free on bond after posting 10 percent of $25,000.

He appeared in court Monday, Jan. 11, via Zoom video conferencing due to COVID-19.
