78th District Court sentencings, posted Dec. 29, 2020.

HART — The following were sentenced recently in 78th District Court:

• Jason Roy Coffell, Jr., 44, of 1041 W. Arthur Rd., Rothbury, pleaded “no contest” Feb. 25, 2020 to attempted unlicensed residential builder and was sentenced Dec. 8, 2020 to 180 days suspended jail with credit for one day served; $14,838 in restitution; and $575 in fines and costs.
• Jennifer Ann idema, 50, of 5327 Windfield Dr., Allendale, was found guilty Dec. 7 of operating while impaired and was sentenced to 93 days suspended jail with credit for one day served; outpatient treatment; and $1,105 in fines and costs. One count of operating while intoxicated was dismissed. Conviction reportable to the Secretary of State (SOS).
• Tobias Raymond Fekken, 44, of 3413 Wanda Ave., Muskegon, was found guilty Dec. 3 of shining after 11 p.m. and was sentenced to $200 in fines and costs.
• Amanda Raye Tovar, 39, of 2105 E. Union St., Shelby, was found guilty Dec. 3 of dog running at large and was sentenced to a $75 fine.
• Steven Geno Rice III, 23, of 1346 E. Madison Rd., Hart, was found guilty Dec. 4 of unlawful license plates and was sentenced to $250 in fines and costs. One count of operating without insurance was dismissed.
• Samuel Duane Townsend, 66, of 1880 W. Webster Rd., Montague, was found guilty Dec. 9 of transporting open intoxicants and was sentenced to $450 in fines and costs. Conviction reportable to SOS.
• Stephen Michael Bayer, 43, of 2849 Meyers Ave., New Era, was found guilty Dec. 9 of dog running at large and was sentenced to $265 in fines and costs.
• Jose DeJesus Ramirez-Toscano, 47, of 828 W. Larch, Muskegon, was found guilty Dec. 9 of fishing without a license and sentenced to $125 in fines and costs.

Dismissals

• Brady Richard Robinson,47, of 9000 County Farm Rd., Parma, Michigan, one count of operating an ORV highway or right-of-way was dismissed Dec. 9.
• John Henry Smith, III, 26, of 1118 Parmington, Hart, one count of operating without insurance was dismissed Dec. 3.
• Michael Alan Tankersley, 57, of 811 Mira Vista Dr., SE, Huntsville, Alabama, one count of failure to display a valid license was dismissed Dec. 3.
