Winter weather advisory begins Tuesday night.
Expect mixed precipitation with total snow accumulations of 2-6 inches and ice accumulations of a light glaze.
OCEANA COUNTY — The US Weather Service in Grand Rapids has issued a winter weather advisory for several counties including Oceana that is in effect Tuesday, Dec. 29, at 10 p.m. through Wednesday, Dec. 30, at 1 p.m.
Counties included: Mason, Lake, Osceola, Clare, Oceana, Newaygo, Mecosta, Isabella, Muskegon, Montcalm, Gratiot, Ottawa, Kent and Ionia.
Expect mixed precipitation with total snow accumulations of 2-6 inches and ice accumulations of a light glaze.
“Plan on slippery road conditions,” states NWS. “The hazardous conditions could impact the Wednesday morning commute.”
The highest snowfall amounts are expected to occur in a line north of Muskegon to Alma.
Slow down and use caution while traveling.
