Couple arrested for stolen vehicle, meth possession.
The following is activity of the Oceana County Sheriff’s Office over the weekend:
Friday, Dec. 4, 2020:
– 2:13 a.m., a 27-year-old Holton woman and a 29-year-old Hesperia man were both arrested on felony charges of stolen vehicle possession and methamphetamine possesion, Maple Island Road near Skeels Road, Greenwood Township. The female suspect was also charged with a misdemeanor of driving while license suspended (DWLS). They were both lodged in the Oceana County Jail.
– 6:52 p.m., a 21-year-old Shelby man was cited for operating without a license and operating without insurance, West Baseline Road, Benona Township.
Saturday, Dec. 5, 2020:
– 10:34 p.m., a 27-year-old Rockford man was arrested for fleeing and eluding, operating while intoxicated (OWI), DWLS and resisting arrest, East Skeels Road, Greenwood Township. He was lodged in the Oceana County Jail.
Sunday, Dec. 6, 2020:
– 10:59 a.m., larceny by conversion and counterfeit money, West Pike Road, Shelby Township. Three fake $100 bills and three real $100 bills were allegedly used in a transaction for the sale of tires for $600
– 7:33 p.m., a 26-year-old Shelby man was cited for operating without insurance, West Baseline Road, Shelby Township.
– 9:13 p.m., a 17-year-old Whitehall man was arrested for operating without a license and fleeing and eluding, Starhill Drive, Shelby Township.
Monday, Dec. 7, 2020:
– 10:47 a.m., failure to report an accident, West Hammett Road, Pentwater Township. The suspect is an 18-year-old Walker, Michigan man.
