Benona Township supervisor recount does not change election.

HART — The Oceana County Board of Canvassers conducted a recount Friday, Dec. 4, to recount the votes of the Benona Township supervisor race.

The original count was 616 votes for Steven Fleming (Republican) and 279 for Jeff Glover (No Party Affiliation).

“After the recount, it was determined that it was 615 Fleming and 279 Glover,” said Oceana County Clerk Amy Anderson. The results did not change the election.”

The public meeting was conducted via Zoom video conferencing due to COVID-19 gathering restrictions.
