Felonious assault investigations top police activity.

The following is police activity in Oceana County over the weekend:

Friday, Oct. 30, 2020:

– 12:15 p.m., (Oceana County Sheriff’s Office), larceny of a generator, North 112th Avenue, Elbridge Township.

Saturday, Oct. 31, 2020:

– 11 a.m., (OCSO), burglary, felonious assault and larceny from a vehicle, Church Street, Village of Hesperia. A purse and cell phone were from stolen from a vehicle during a domestic incident. A 37-year-old Muskegon man is the suspect. The report is being turned over to the Oceana County Prosecutor’s Office for review.

– 10:39 p.m., (OCSO), a 34-year-old Shelby man arrested for felonious assault and a weapons offense, East Ferry Street, Village of Shelby. A firearm was used in the offense, and a female was injured.

Sunday, Nov. 1, 2020:

– 12:05 a.m., (Michigan State Police), a 45-year-old Michigan City, Indiana man was arrested for methamphetamine possession, operating under the influence of drugs and malicious destruction of property for allegedly damaging a vehicle, 8000 block of Easy Street, Golden Township.

– 6:41 p.m., (OCSO), larceny, North 28th Avenue, Golden Township.
