Shelby High School student tests positive for COVID-19.

SHELBY — A Shelby High School student recently tested positive for COVID-19, according to a letter to parents from Shelby Public Schools Secondary Principal Mark Olmsted that was posted online Thursday, Oct. 29.

The school district in conjunction with District Health Department #10 immediately began contact tracing, the letter states.

“The health and safety of our students, staff and overall community continue to be a top priority.”
