78th District Court sentencings, posted Oct. 16, 2020.

HART — The following were sentenced recently in 78th District Court:

– Samuel Courtney Clark, 33, of 130 18th St., Holland, Michigan, was found guilty Oct. 6 of operating while intoxicated (OWI) and was sentenced to 93 days suspended jail with credit for two days served; outpatient treatment; and $1,205 in fines and costs. Conviction reportable to the Secretary of State (SOS). One count of transporting open intoxicants was dismissed.

– Linda Marie Bloechl, 60, of 1467 Linden Rd., Homewood, Illinois, was found guilty Oct. 14 of failure to wear a personal flotation device (PFD) on a personal watercraft and was sentenced to $250 in fines and costs. May withdraw plea once fines and costs are paid in full.

– John Patrick Burke, 51, of 426 Badger Lane, Oswego, Illinois, was found guilty Oct. 14 of operating an ORV on a highway or public right-of-way and was sentenced to $325 in fines and costs.

– David William-Edward Carpenter, 31, of 5845 W. 6th St., Mears, was found guilty Oct. 14 of failure to display a valid license and was sentenced to $125 in fines and costs. One count of improper license was dismissed.

– Ronaldo Castillo, 49, of 1825 N. 56th Ave., Mears, was found guilty Oct. 14 of allowing a suspended/revoked/denied person to operate and was sentenced to $450 in fines and costs. He was also found guilty of transporting open intoxicants and was sentenced to $270 in fines and costs.

– Sean Ryan Kinsman, 30, of 1901 Fir Ave., Holton, was found guilty Oct. 14 of violation of a restricted license and was sentenced to $375 in fines and costs. Conviction reportable to SOS.

– Keith Christopher Korstanje, 22, of 539 Forest Ave., Twin Lake, was found guilty Oct. 14 of allowing a person to drive in violation and was sentenced to $340 in fines and costs. One count of improper license was dismissed.

– Jodine Rachel Mosqueda, 41, of 1179 4th St., Muskegon, was found guilty Oct. 14 of operating an ORV on a highway or right-of-way and was sentenced to $400 in fines and costs. One count of driving while license suspended (DWLS) as dismissed.

– Dean Ray Poellet, 61, of 956 Riverview Court, Williamson, was found guilty Oct. 14 of fishing without a license and was sentenced to $325 in fines and costs.

– Chelsea Marie Smith, 26, of 1901 Fir Ave., Holton, was found guilty Oct. 14 of allowing a person to drive in violation and was sentenced to $175 in fines and costs. One count of DWLS was dismissed.
