PENTWATER — The Pentwater Sportfishing Association recently presented a check for $650 to Pentwater Village Manager Chris Brown to support the operation and maintenance of the Village Fish Cleaning Station.

During a meeting Oct. 1, President Dean Jessup, along with Past President Bruce Koorndyk, made the presentation to Brown. This brings the total support for this project to $1,850 over two years.

The Village Fish Cleaning Station is a constant focal point for visitors to view the catch of the day and get pictures.

“PSA is pleased the village management supports the fishing effort in our port, and works to assist the village in community projects focused on safety and enjoyment of this resource,” states a press release from the organization.

All information for Pentwater Sportfishing Association is posted on the Pentwater Sportfishing Association web page, www.pentwaterpsa.org.
