Tools, appliances stolen in break-in.

OTTO TOWNSHIP — The Oceana County Sheriff’s Office is investigating a break-in involving the theft of several tools and appliances that occurred in the 3300 block of East Arthur Road, said Oceana County Sheriff Craig Mast. The break-in was reported Saturday, Sept. 19, and it occurred some time between Sept. 13 and Sept. 18.

Items taken include: a washing machine valued at $200; a clothes dryer valued at $200; a lawn mower valued at $200; a wall heater valued at $500; air compressors valued at $300 total; a CD player valued at $100; a cart valued at $50; a nail gun valued at $100; gas cans filled with gas valued at $50; a microwave valued at $200; mower parts valued at $100; a weed whacker valued at $100; a propane heater valued at $150; and several other tools and miscellaneous equipment.

Thursday, Sept. 17, 2020:

– 5:17 a.m., a 33-year-old Hesperia man was cited for driving while license suspended (DWLS), South 142nd Avenue, Otto Township.

– 9:17 a.m., larceny of an electric range stove, West Shelby Road, Shelby Township.

– 10:56 a.m., larceny from mail, West Webster Road, Grant Township.

– 12:43 p.m., a 22-year-old Hesperia man was arrested on a warrant, East Garfield Road, Ferry Township.

– 2:31 p.m., larceny of marijuana plants, South Driftwood Drive, Grant Township.

– 3:35 p.m., larceny of a canoe, utility trailer and motorcycle parts, South Oceana Drive, Grant Township.

Friday, Sept. 18, 2020:

– 6:41 a.m., a 26-year-old Pentwater man was arrested for methamphetamine possession, East Yale Road, Otto Township.

Saturday, Sept. 19, 2020:

– 4:26 a.m., probation violation, West Hazel Road, Golden Township.

Sunday, Sept. 20, 2020:

– 8:35 a.m., failure to report an accident, West Filmore Road, Golden Township. A warrant is pending.

– 2:02 p.m., intimidation, West Adams Road, Weare Township.

– 7:29 p.m., a 29-year-old Taylor, Michigan man was cited for DWLS, Oceana Drive, Hart Township.

– 7:44 p.m., a 31-year-old Wyoming, Michigan man was arrested for operating while intoxicated with an occupant less than 16, Hazel Road, Hart Township. He was later cited and released.

– 10:14 p.m., aggravated assault, North Business Route US 31, Pentwater Township. A warrant is pending.
