The following is police activity in Oceana County over the Labor Day weekend:

Friday, Sept. 4, 2020:

– 1 p.m., (Michigan State Police), stolen ATV and trailer, South Maple Island Road, Greenwood Township.

– 5:35 p.m., (OCSO), a 65-year-old Montague man was cited for open intoxicants, South 116th Avenue, Otto Township.

– 8:38 p.m., (OCSO), a 44-year-old Walkerville woman was cited for driving while license suspended (DWLS) and driving without insurance, Jefferson Road, Colfax Township.

– 9:50 p.m., (OCSO), a 49-year-old Allendale woman was cited for operating while intoxicated, North Shore Drive, Golden Township.

– 10:13 p.m., (MSP), car/deer crash, southbound US 31 near Oceana Drive, Pentwater Township.

Saturday, Sept. 5, 2020:

– 3:23 a.m., (OCSO), dangerous drugs, North Oceana Drive, Hart Township. Lab results are pending.

– 9:16 a.m., (MSP), larceny of work tools and an air compressor valued at a total of approximately $1,900, 1000 block of West Taylor Road, Hart Township.

– 10:48 a.m., (OCSO), larceny of $40 cash and cigarettes from a vehicle, North 188th Avenue, Leavitt Township.

– 6:42 p.m., (OCSO), a 25-year-old Hesperia man was cited for DWLS, East Garfield Road, Otto Township.

– 8:56 p.m., (MSP), a 38-year-old Rothbury man was cited for DWLS, 66th Avenue near Shelby Road, Shelby Township.

Sunday, Sept. 6, 2020:

– 2:32 a.m., (OCSO), a 34-year-old Hart woman was arrested for domestic violence, North 64th Avenue, Hart Township.

– 10:48 a.m., (OCSO), an 18-year-old Caledonia man was cited for reckless driving on an ORV, Woodrow Road, Benona Township.

– 11:39 a.m., (OCSO), larceny of cologne and sunglasses from a vehicle, West Wilke Road, Grant Township.

– 2:42 p.m., (OCSO), a 55-year-old Caro, Michigan man was cited for DWLS, West Fox Road, Golden Township.

– 4:43 p.m., (MSP), a 33-year-old Ludington man was cited for DWLS, US 31 near Oceana Drive, Grant Township.

– 6:43 p.m., (MSP), a 23-year-old Hart woman was cited for driving without a license and driving without insurance, US 31 near Oceana Drive, Grant Township.

– 7:41 p.m., (OCSO), a 30-year-old Hart man and a 23-year-old Walkerville man were both cited for DWLS, 56th Avenue, Golden Township.

– 7:46 p.m. (OCSO), a 36-year-old Hesperia woman was arrested for domestic violence and assaulting/resisting/obstructing police, East Loop Road, Ferry Township.

– 9:09 p.m., (OCSO), a 20-year-old Mears man was cited for second-offense DWLS, North 34th Avenue, Golden Township.

– 11:45 p.m., (OCSO) a 19-year-old Hart man was arrested for illegal entry and felonious assault, East Minke Road, Crystal Township. A woman received a cut to her hand that did not require medical treatment.

Monday, Sept. 7, 2020:

– 1:31 a.m., (MSP), a 30-year-old Hesperia man was arrested for felonious assault and assaulting/resisting/obstructing a police officer, 6000 block of East Garfield Road, Greenwood Township. A 28-year-old Hesperia man was treated at the scene for injuries sustained in the assault. OCSO assisted. An Oceana County sheriff’s deputy was knocked to the ground by the suspect.

– 9:30 p.m., (MSP), car/deer crash, US 31 near Hayes Road, Shelby Township.
