UPDATE: The dog has been safely returned.

Dog stolen.

PENTWATER — The Oceana County Sheriff’s Office is investigating the theft of a female 6-month-old purebred husky that was stolen Friday, Sept. 4, from the area of 9322 North 80th Avenue.

The black and white dog is named Denali.

The deputy investigating the theft said a small red car with three females stopped and picked it up, and the car was last seen southbound on 80th Avenue.
