Fruitport man arrested for meth possession, firearm in vehicle.

GRANT TOWNSHIP – A 25-year-old Fruitport man was arrested by Michigan State Police troopers from the Hart post Wednesday, Sept. 2, around 6:45 p.m. on US 31 near Winston Road on charges of methamphetamine possesion, carrying a concealed weapon — firearm in the vehicle, driving while license suspended and driving without insurance, according to Sgt. Dan Thomas.

On Thursday, Sept. 3, at 4 a.m., a 37-year-old Hesperia man was arrested by MSP on Garfield Road near 156th Avenue in Otto Township on a fugitive warrant for failure to appear, Thomas said.
