Portion of Garfield Road closed for culvert replacement.

FERRY TOWNSHIP — The gravel portion of Garfield Road from 124th Avenue to 128th Avenue is closed Monday, Aug. 31, to replace a failed culvert, according to the Oceana County Road Commission.

The project most likely won’t be completed by the end of the day, so the road won’t be opened to traffic until Tuesday, Sept. 1.

A detour has been set up.
