78th District Court sentencings, dismissals.

HART — The following were sentenced recently in 78th District Court:

– Derek Michael Umlor, 29, of 6146 Airline Rd., Fruitport, was found guilty July 13 of second-offense domestic violence and was sentenced to one year suspended jail with credit for three days served and $535 in fines and costs. “Probation in Muskegon County. No contact to be lifted in six months,” his court file states.

– Noah Robert Loomis, 22, of 4905 Pullman Ave., Muskegon, was found guilty July 17 of operating an ORV in a closed area and was sentenced to $255 in fines and costs.

– Matthew Michael Schmidt, 42, of 8834 E. Filmore Rd., Hesperia, was found guilty July 15 of forest fires — no burning permit and was sentenced to $180 in fines and costs.

– Erin Patrick Early, 49, of 7426 S. Cabana Rd., Custer, was found guilty July 15 of operating an ORV at an unreasonable speed and was sentenced to $325 in fines and costs.

– Robert Lee McGrady, 31, of 3817 Cloverville Rd., Fruitport, was found guilty July 15 of fishing without a license and was sentenced to $100 in fines and costs.

– Neftali Diaz Gabriel, 31, of 836 E. Harrison Rd., Hart, was found guilty July 17 of driving while license not valid and was sentenced to $300 in fines and costs. Conviction reportable to the Secretary of Sate (SOS).

– Logan Erwin Mullett, 20, of 9717 S. Maple Island Rd., Fremont, was found guilty of operating an ORV on public land and was sentenced to $250 in fines and costs.

– Tyler Curtis Wilkin, 25, of 6703 Maple Island Rd., Holton, was found guilty July 20 of operating while intoxicated and was sentenced to 93 days suspended jail with credit for one day served and $1,240 in fines and costs. Conviction reportable to SOS.

– Karrie Elizabeth Linville, 35, of 5650 S. Oceana Dr., New Era, was found guilty June 29 of larceny less than $200 and was sentenced to $500 in fines, costs and restitution. A second count of larceny less than $200 was dismissed.

– Dustin James Videtich-Munoz, 32, of 9087 Fox St., Hesperia, was found guilty July 20 of non-sufficient fund check $100 or less and was sentenced to $1,651 in restitution and $160 in fines and costs.

– Brooke Nicole Collins, 29, of 14 Chapita Hills, Shelby, was found guilty July 20 of harboring misdemeanants and was sentenced to 93 days suspended jail with credit for one day served and $250 in fines and costs.

Dismissals

– Donald Paul Adams, 55, of 2129 E. Monroe Rd., Hart, one felony count of unlawful use of a financial transaction device was dismissed July 8.

– Robert Lee McGrady, 31, of 3817 Cloverville Rd., Fruitport, one count of fishing without a license was dismissed July 17.

– Chandra Rana Freeman, 51, of 260 Sessions Rd., Shelby, one count of stray dog was dismissed July 15.

– Jose Guadalupe Gomez-Velazquez, 29, of 664 Phillips St., South Haven, Michigan; charges of OWI and driving while license suspended (DWLS) were dismissed July 21.

– Andrew David Hudgens, 19, of 2455 Woodlake Rd., Wyoming, Michigan, one count of fishing without a license was dismissed July 18.

– Maxwell James Kummer, 22, of 8933 Tamarack Crt., Plymouth, Michigan one count of fishing without a license was dismissed July 20.

– Jaime Ruggles-Arenas, Jr., 18, of 4749 N. 68th Ave., Hart, one count of domestic violence was dismissed July 20.
