Sheriff’s office investigates stolen boat.

ROTHBURY — The Oceana County Sheriff’s Office is investigating the theft of a 1987 Rinker speedboat.

The 19 1/2 foot red and white boat with an inboard/outboard motor was reported stolen Sunday, July 5, around 11:30 a.m. It was stolen from the parking area of the Double JJ Resort’s water park.

The boat, which was was on a trailer, has a marine craft number of MC 5928 NA. The trailer plate number is not available.

Anyone with information is asked to contact the sheriff’s office at 231-873-2121.
