The following is recent police activity in Oceana County:

Monday, June 22, 2020:

1:21 p.m., (Oceana County Sheriff’s Office), larceny theft of a post hole digger valued at $10, North 72nd Avenue, Hart Township.

– 2:01 p.m., (OCSO), a 35-year-old Mears man was arrested for disorderly person, North Ridge Road, Golden Township. The suspect was allegedly highly intoxicated, engaging in “erratic behavior,” said Oceana County Sheriff Craig Mast.

– 3:55 p.m., (Michigan State Police), car/turkey crash, US 31 near M 20, Grant Township.

– 5:17 p.m., (OCSO), assault, South Michigan Avenue, Village of Rothbury.

Tuesday, June 23, 2020:

– 9 a.m., (MSP), car/deer crash, 192nd Avenue and East Warren Road, Newfield Township.

– 10 a.m., (MSP), larceny theft of a flatbed trailer used for hauling cars, 2000 block of West Tyler Road, Hart Township. The trailer is valued at $1,400.

– 12:10 p.m., (OCSO), larceny theft of $200 in cash, West Polk Road, Hart Township.

– 9:20 p.m., (MSP), a 33-year-old Mears man was arrested for disorderly conduct, Ridge Road near Amber Road, Golden Township.
