2 injured in semi/car crash.
SHELBY TOWNSHIP — Two people were transported by Life EMS to an area hospital Thursday afternoon, June 18, following a car/semi crash at the intersection of Oceana Drive and Baseline Road, according to Michigan State Police Trooper Erin McGarry.
A Freightliner semi truck, which was not hauling a trailer, collided with a Chevrolet Impala at approximately 3 p.m. near Peterson Farms. Two people in the Impala suffered minor injuries, McGarry said. The semi driver was not hurt.
Assisting at the scene were the Oceana County Sheriff’s Office and the Department of Natural Resources.
