Oceana COVID-19 update: 109 cases, 47 recoveries, 3 deaths.

District Health Department #10’s latest COVID-19 data indicates that there are 109 positive COVID-19 cases in Oceana County, including three people who have died from the virus.

However, 47 of the Oceana County coronavirus cases are listed as “recovered.”

Neighboring counties’ statistics include: Newaygo County, 123 cases, 43 recoveries, 0 deaths; Mason County: 32 cases, 25 recoveries; 0 deaths; Muskegon County: 730 cases, 451 recoveries, 43 deaths. (Muskegon County’s data is from Muskegon County Public Health.)

Recoveries are “based on whether individuals are still alive 30 days past the confirmed date,” states DHD #10’s website.

There are 60,189 confirmed cases in Michigan and 5,790 deaths, according to DHD #10.
