Monroe Road closed for at least two weeks.

PENTWATER TOWNSHIP — Monroe Road from US 31 to Longbridge Road is closed “for at least the next two weeks to help alleviate water issues,” according to the Oceana County Road Commission.

Westbound Monroe Road traffic does not have access to Longbridge Road, according to the Michigan Department of Transportation.

A detour route has been set up.

The work is weather dependent.
