Woman accused of choking man, threatening him with knife.

ELBRIDGE TOWNSHIP — The Hart post of the Michigan State Police is seeking charges of aggravated assault, home invasion and assault by strangulation against a female suspect, said Sgt. Dan Thomas.

The woman is accused of choking a man — with whom she is in a domestic relationship with — and threatening him with a knife, said Thomas.

The incident, which occurred Tuesday June 9, was reported to police Thursday June 11. It occurred in the 2500 block of Polk Road.

– 6:56 p.m., (Oceana County Sheriff’s Office), a 17-year-old Muskegon woman was arrested for operating while intoxicated following a vehicle crash, South 184th Avenue, Newfield Township.

– Noon, (MSP), assault, Chapita Hills, Village of Shelby.

– 8:10 p.m., (MSP), a 35-year-old New Era man was arrested for domestic assault, 5600 block of Oceana Drive, Grant Township.
