OCEANA COUNTY — The Oceana County Sheriff’s Office investigated two property damage cases over the weekend involving damage to vehicles.

The driver’s side window and the windshield of a 2005 Chrysler Pacifica were destroyed when a 23-year-old Shelby man threw a cinder block through them, said Oceana County Sheriff Craig Mast. The incident occurred on West Fourth Street in Shelby Sunday, May 31, around 10 a.m.

The police report is being turned over the Oceana County Prosecutor’s Office, seeking a charge of felony malicious destruction of property.
