27th Circuit Court sentencings, May 18, 2020.

HART — The following were sentenced in 27th Circuit Court Monday, May 18:

– Leon Jon Stanek, 50, of 2349 S. 118th Ave., Shelby, was found

guilty March 23 of controlled substance less than 25 grams and was sentenced to 11 months in jail; driver’s license suspended one year/restricted after 60 days; and $398 in fines and costs. Due to his status as a parolee, Stanek received zero credit for his time served in jail, his court file states. He must report to jail Monday, May 25, to begin his sentence.

– Justin Shane Eitniear, 45, of 7933 Marlene Dr., Rothbury, was found guilty March 23 of methamphetamine possession and was sentenced to 89 days in jail with credit for 89 days served; 18 months probation; driver’s license

Eitniear

suspended 180 days/restricted after 30 days; and $458 in fines and costs.

Defendants that are incarcerated in jail appear for court proceedings via Polycom and those out on bond appear via Zoom teleconferencing while the courthouse is closed due to the COVID-19 pandemic.
