HART — A 63-year-old Rothbury man has been arraigned in 78th District Court on four felony counts of second-degree criminal sexual conduct (CSC) for the alleged assaults of two female victims who were in age range of 12-14 years old, according to Oceana County Prosecutor Joseph Bizon.
Monty Lee Jerry, 63, of 5293 120th Ave., Rothbury, was arrested by the Hart post of the Michigan State Police, according to court records.
The incidents reportedly occurred in the time frame of 2012-2018 in Rothbury, Bizon said.
“He is charged on alternative theories for each victim on CSC 2 — sexual contact without penetration,” Bizon said.
Second-degree CSC is punishable by up to 15 years in prison.
Jerry’s bail was set at $10,000/cash/surety/10 percent, and he posted 10 percent, according to his court file.
A probable cause conference is scheduled for May 18 at 3 p.m.
