PENTWATER — The Pentwater Chamber of Commerce has canceled several early summer events in the small community that thrives on tourism due to the COVID-19 pandemic.

Another popular summer event, the Community Wide Garage Sales, have been canceled. The garage sales throughout the town were scheduled for Saturday, June 13.

Pentwater’s iconic summer event — Homecoming — remains on schedule for Aug. 13-16. Updates will be made on a “month-to-month basis,” according to the chamber.
