SHELBY TOWNSHIP — A male chihuahua was shot by a pellet gun Sunday afternoon, May 10, on Sessions Road, said Oceana County Sheriff Craig Mast.
The pellet was removed by the dog’s owner, and the animal appears to be OK. The pellet was partially lodged behind the dog’s ear.
