Police investigate break-in.

OTTO TOWNSHIP — The Oceana County Sheriff’s Office is investigating a breaking and entering of a garage located on 128th Avenue that involved the theft of several automotive items, said Oceana County Sheriff Craig Mast.
The intruder or intruders gained access by prying open a service door. The door had been further secured following a previous break-in at the same location, Mast said.
Items stolen include an engine hoist valued at $200, three engine blocks valued at $200 apiece and three vehicle radiators valued at $200 each.
The break-in was reported Friday, May 1, but it occurred some time within the last two months.

Friday, May 1, 2020:
– 2:18 a.m., (Michigan State Police), assault, Oceana Drive near Ferry Street, Village of Shelby.
– 1:18 p.m., (Oceana County Sheriff’s Office), larceny of a 200-gallon plastic water tank valued at $20, Northland Castings, West Tyler Road, Hart Township.
– 6:10 p.m., (OCSO), fleeing and eluding, a suspect on a dirt bike fled from police, 200th Avenue, Greenwood Township.
– 9:36 p.m., (OCSO), harassing phone calls, North 120th Avenue, Crystal Township.
Saturday, May 2, 2020:
– 6:30 p.m., (MSP), a Walkerville woman (age unavailable) was cited for driving without insurance, Winston Road near US 31, Grant Township.
– 9:35 p.m,. (OCSO), shots fired, West M 20, Shelby Township.
Sunday, May 3, 2020:
– 1:15 p.m., (OCSO), assault, West Arthur Road, Claybanks Township.
