Fifth COVID-19 case reported in Oceana County.

District Health Department #10 reported a new case of COVID-19 in Oceana County Sunday, April 26, bringing the county’s total to five cases. One person in Oceana County has died from the virus.

Neighboring Newaygo County has 16 reported coronavirus cases, and Mason County has five total, according to DHD #10. No COVID-19 deaths have been reported in either of those counties.

In Muskegon County, there are 235 reported COVID-19 cases and 13 deaths, according to Muskegon County Public Health.

There are 37,778 confirmed cases in Michigan and 3,315 confirmed deaths state-wide due to COVID-19, according to DHD #10.
