Suspect wanted on felony warrants flees after stealing from Wesco.

GRANT TOWNSHIP — A 20-year-old Grand Rapids woman, who is wanted on several felony warrants, fled the Rothbury Wesco Sunday, April 5, shortly before 1 p.m. after stealing gas and other items from the convenience store, according the Oceana County Sheriff Craig Mast.

The woman filled up the gas tank of the 2013 Chevrolet Equinox she was driving and then went to the counter, telling staff she needed something behind the counter. When the cashier turned around, the suspect left the store without paying for her $15 in gas, three packs of cigarettes and two Gatorade drinks.

Friday, April 3, 2020:

– 12:45 a.m., (Michigan State Police), a 48-year-old White Cloud man was cited for driving while license suspended (DWLS) and expired registration following a car/deer crash involving two deer, M 20 and Lakeview Drive, Shelby Township.

– 9:44 a.m., (Oceana County Sheriff’s Office), a 19-year-old Hart man was cited for DWLS, West Tyler Road, Hart Township.

Saturday, April 4, 2020:

– 7:47 am., (OCSO), theft of a 2004 Chevrolet Venture van, 7300 block of West Deer Road, Golden Township. The van was recovered in Kent County, and the case remains under investigation.

– 12:45 p.m., (MSP), multiple trees were cut down and stolen, 80th Avenue and Skeels Road, Grant Township.

– 9:30 p.m., (MSP), breaking and entering, 2700 block of Woodrow Road, Shelby Township. The case is under investigation.

Sunday, April 5, 2020:

– 6 p.m., larceny of a hydraulic jack valued at $80, 5900 block of 5th Street, Golden Township.
