Domestic assault at rest area yields drug delivery arrest.

GRANT TOWNSHIP — A 47-year-old Scottville woman was arrested on felony charges of delivery/manufacture of methamphetamine and cocaine possession over 50 grams after Michigan State Police troopers from the Hart post were dispatched to the Rothbury rest area on northbound US 31 Tuesday, March 31, at 11 p.m. to a domestic assault in progress, said Sgt. Dan Thomas.

The woman was also arrested on a misdemeanor charge of domestic violence.

Two other suspects — a 67-year-old Scottville man and a 38-year-old Roscommon man — are being investigated in regard to the incident.

In an unrelated case, MSP is investigating a domestic assault reported Tuesday, March 31, in the 100 block of Wilke Road in Grant Township.
