HART — The following were sentenced recently in 78th District Court:
– Richard Edward Walker, 61, of 2461 Wisconsin Ave., Muskegon, was found guilty Nov. 25, 2019 of second-offense operating while intoxicated and was sentenced March 9, 2020 to 90 days in jail with credit for 26 days served; one year suspended jail; six months probation; outpatient treatment; and $525 in fines and costs. One count of third-offense operating while intoxicated was dismissed. Conviction reportable to the Secretary of State (SOS).
– Amy Louise Maynard, 48, of 7680 E. Washington Rd., Branch, was found guilty March 9 of driving while license suspended (DWLS) and was sentenced to one day in jail with credit for one day served and a $75 fine. Conviction reportable to SOS. One count of second-offense DWLS was dismissed.
– Ryan Joseph Torrey, 24, of 7224 W. 8th St., Fremont, was found guilty March 9 of allowing a person to drive in violation and was sentenced to two days in jail with credit for two days served and $340 in fines and costs. One count of operating without insurance was dismissed.
– Eric Steven Helmkamp, 50, of 520 E. Main St., Hart, was found guilty March 9 of trespassing and was sentenced to one day in jail with credit for one day served and $200 in fines and costs.
– Gabriel John Jagniecki, 31, of 3173 Meyers Rd., New Era, was found guilty March 9 of disturbing the peace and was sentenced to two days in jail with credit for two days served and $125 in fines and costs. One count of disorderly person — drunk was dismissed.
– Luis Alberto Cruz-Rivera, 31, of 314 Johnson St., Hart, was found guilty March 9 of disorderly conduct — drunk and was sentenced to 93 days suspended jail with credit for three days served and $475 in fines and costs. One count of domestic violence was dismissed.
– Mark Anthony Lomupo, 36, of 9103 E. Hawley Rd., Hesperia, was found guilty March 9 of DWLS and was sentenced to two days in jail with credit for two days served and $475 in fines and costs. Conviction reportable to SOS.
– Robert Charles Brown, 34, of 429 S. Water St., Hart, was found guilty March 9 of operating without insurance and was sentenced to one year suspended jail with credit for one day served and $450 in fines and costs. Conviction reportable to SOS. Charges of improper license and unlawful license plate were dismissed.
– Brandie Cay Maile, 43, of 8977 N. 120th Ave., Hart, was found guilty Feb. 26 of allowing a person to drive in violation and was sentenced to one day in jail with credit for one day served and $290 in fines and costs.
– Jeffery Dewayne Kevern, 43, of 951 E. McKinley Rd., Rothbury, pleaded “no contest” Feb. 27 to improper license and was sentenced to one day in jail with credit for one day served and $300 in fines and costs. Conviction reportable to SOS.
– Raymond Jake Summerskill, 32, of 1751 S. 200th Ave., Hesperia, was found guilty Feb. 27 of wildlife conservation violation and was sentenced to 90 days suspended jail with credit for two days served; hunting license revoked a total of five years; and $2,475 in fines and costs. Charges of recreational trespassing and hunting deer without a license were dismissed.
– Jacob Allen Koster, 27, of 5758 Marjorie Ave., Muskegon, was found guilty Feb. 27 of recreational trespassing and was sentenced to one day in jail with credit for one day served and $425 in fines and costs. One count of wildlife conservation violation was dismissed.
– Roger Allen Koster, 57, of 5965 White Rd., Muskegon, was found guilty Feb. 27 of recreational trespassing and was sentenced to one day in jail with credit for one day served and $425 in fines and costs. One count of wildlife conservation violation was dismissed.
– Jon Glenn Young, 58, of 2685 Webster Rd., Montague, was found guilty March 5 of unlawful license plate and was sentenced to one day in jail with credit for one day served and $125 in fines and costs.
– Bradley Ryan Hambright, 33, of 7334 N. 140th Ave., Hart, was found guilty March 4 of transporting open intoxicants and was sentenced to $345 in fines and costs. Conviction reportable to SOS.
– Robbie Lee Bozeman, 59, of 1453 W. Shelby Rd., Shelby, was found guilty March of 4 of DWLS and was sentenced to $400 in fines and costs. Conviction reportable to SOS.
– Gregory Michael Tucker, 46, of 20053 Steven Dr., Browntown Township, Michigan, was found guilty March 5 of owner permitting person under 16 to operate an ORV and was sentenced to $375 in fines and costs.
– Patrick Hugh Gray, 41, of 421 W. Michigan Ave., Hesperia, was found guilty March 5 of allowing a person to drive in violation and was sentenced to one day in jail with credit for one day served and $290 in fines and costs. One count of improper license was dismissed.
Dismissals
– Juan Sanchez, 23, of 116 W. 6th St., Shelby, one count of possession of open intoxicants was dismissed Jan. 21.
– Benjamin Clark Berman, 48, of 113 N. Orchard Ave., Hart, one count of operating while intoxicated was dismissed March 4.
– Michael Lee Beckman, 38, of 1645 N. 116th Ave., Hart, one count of failure to report an accident was dismissed March 4.
– Jeremy Daniel Halverson, 31, of 6565 Sweeter Rd., Twin Lake, one count of no license on person was dismissed March 5.
– Tonya Anne Cudnohufsky, 34, of 6147 W. Raven Dr., Hesperia, one count of trespassing was dismissed March 5.
– Dorrell Antwon Thomas, 30, of 1495 W. Tyler Rd., Hart, charges of malicious destruction of property and domestic violence were dismissed. “Defendant pleaded to a serious felony,” court records state.
– Roosbelt Valenzuela-Flores, 22, of 2896 W. Arthur Rd., New Era, charges of operating while intoxicated and improper license were dismissed Feb. 17. “Defendant pleaded to a serious felony,” court records state.
– Daniel Richard Matthews, 48, of 2336 E. 40th Ave., White Cloud, one count of domestic violence was dismissed March 4. “The victim in this matter is unwilling to cooperate with the prosecution of the defendant,” court records state.
– Jeffrey Lovell Brown, 52, of 137 W. Wilke Rd., Rothbury, one count of domestic violence was dismissed March 6. “The victim in this matter is unwilling to cooperate with the prosecution of the defendant,” court records state.
