Man allegedly threatens to kill ex and refuses to leave her home.

NEWFIELD TOWNSHIP — A 33-year-old Hesperia man was arrested by Oceana County sheriff’s deputies Saturday, March 28, shortly before 3 a.m. after threatening to kill his ex-girlfriend and pounding on the doors and windows of her house on East Loop Road, refusing to leave the property, said Oceana County Sheriff Craig Mast.
Deputies were dispatched to the home after the victim called 911 saying the her ex boyfriend was trying to get inside her home and made threats toward her, Mast said. The suspect also called 911, demanding that a wellbeing check be done on his “baby mama” and their unborn child. The man said he would kick in the door if he did not get his Xbox and TV.
After deputies arrived, the unarmed suspect allegedly threatened that he was going to shoot a deputy in a the face, Mast said.
The man was arrested on charges of assaulting/resisting/obstructing police, trespassing and domestic violence. He was lodged in the Oceana County Jail.
