Expect shoulder closures on Oceana Drive.
HART — Motorists should expect shoulder closures on Oceana Drive north of Tyler Road as part of a $1 million bridge rehabilitation project by the Michigan Department of Transportation slated to begin Wednesday, March 18.
“Shoulder closures will be in place on Old US 31 (Oceana Drive) over the Pentwater River,” said MDOT Assistant Construction Engineer Theresa Eilers.
“The closures will remain in place for approximately two weeks and are required in preparation for the bridge construction project taking place later this spring. The work is weather dependent.
“The $1.04 million bridge rehabilitation project consists of penetrating healer/sealer on bridge deck, deck patching, joint and pin and hanger replacement, full painting and steel repair on Old US 31 over the Pentwater River, Oceana County.”
