The following is recent police activity in Oceana County:
Thursday, March 5, 2020:
– 12:20 a.m., (Michigan State Police), a 32-year-old Muskegon woman was arrested for driving while license suspended (DWLS), 192nd Avenue south of Yonker Road, Newfield Townsip.
– 11:16 p.m., (Oceana County Sheriff’s Office), a 35-year-old Hart woman was arrested for DWLS, Polk Road, Hart Township.
Friday, March 6, 2020:
– 2 a.m., (MSP), a 60-year-old New Era woman was arrested for operating without a license Oceana Drive and Grant Road, Shelby Township.
– 5:30 p.m., (MSP), a 25-year-old Rothbury man was arrested on an outstanding failure to appear warrant, 7000 block of South Applehill Drive, Grant Township.
– 9:20 p.m. (MSP), domestic assault, 8000 block of Robinhood Drive, Grant Township.
– 10:30 p.m., (MSP), car/deer crash, Harrison Road near 60th Avenue, Golden Township.
Saturday, March 7, 2020:
– noon, (OCSO), a Silver 2005 Chevrolet Colorado pickup truck that had been reported stolen in Manistee County was recovered on South 108th Avenue near McKinley Road in Grant Township.
– 10:40 p.m., (MSP), car/deer crash, Deer Road near 34th Avenue, Golden Townnship.
Sunday, March 8, 2020:
– 7:18 a.m., (MSP), a 31-year-old Muskegon man was arrested on a warrant, Maple Island Road near Arthur Road, Greenwood Township.
Monday, March 9, 2020:
– 12:30 p.m., (OCSO), a felony charge of assault by strangulation is being pursued against a 38-year-old Hart man after the victim reported the crime to the sheriff’s office in person. The victim suspstained bruises on her neck.
