MDOT to host meeting Monday to address high water levels in Pentwater.
PENTWATER — The Michigan Department of Transportation (MDOT) is hosting a public meeting Monday, March 9, from 3-4 p.m. at the village hall to discuss plans to address high water levels near US 31 Business Route adjacent to Pentwater Lake in the Village of Pentwater.
MDOT officials will provide details on the plans, including scheduling and traffic information. The public is invited to stop by any time during the meeting to learn more and provide comments.
With historic high water levels in Lake Michigan forecasted to rise, MDOT is taking action to make sure the road stays open and safe. Planned activity includes drainage work and pump installation.
