Hesperia man arrested on several gun charges, meth possession.

HART TOWNSHIP — Michigan State Police troopers from the Hart post arrested a 29-year-old Hesperia man Thursday, Feb. 13, shortly before 1 a.m. on Oceana Drive near Baseline Road on charges of possession of a firearm, possession of a loaded firearm in a vehicle, possession of a short-barreled shotgun, possession of methamphetamine and operating without insurance, according the Trooper Kelsey Case.

He was lodged in the Oceana County Jail.

8:30 p.m., (MSP), a 63-year-old Hart man was arrested for operating while intoxicated, Oceana Drive near Monroe Road, Weare Township.

8:03 p.m., (OCSO), a 24-year-old Shelby man was arrested for operating while intoxicated, assaulting/resisting/obstructing police, driving while license suspended and open intoxicants, North State Street, Village of Shelby.
