HART – The following were sentenced recently in 78th District Court:
– Ryan Weston Zelenbaba, 39, of 3448 Manchester, Swartz Creek, Michigan, was found guilty Feb. 10 of domestic violence and sentenced to 93 days suspended jail with credit for three days served; six months probation; must submit to testing, searches and counseling as directed by probation officer; no alcohol/drugs; no assaultive behavior; not to possess firearms; and $625 in fines and costs. One felony count of assault with intent to great bodily harm was dismissed.
– Juliana Kay Hope, 43, of 1443 Getz Rd., Norton Shores, was found guilty Jan. 21 of operating while intoxicated and was sentenced to 93 days suspended jail with credit for two days served; outpatient treatment; and $1,240 in fines and costs. Conviction reportable to the Secretary of State (SOS).
– Benjamin Anthony Kittel, 25, of 1010 S. 42nd. Ave., Shelby, was found guilty of operating while intoxicated and was sentenced to 93 days suspended jail with credit for 10 days served and $385 in fines and costs. Charges of failure to report an accident, operating while intoxicated (in a second file), second-offense operating while intoxicated and operating without insurance (in a third file) were dismissed.
– Derrick Darrell Reed, 40, of 549 McLaren St., Muskegon, was found guilty Feb. 3 of operating while impaired and was sentenced to 93 days suspended jail with credit for 22 days served; Alcohol Highway Safety Education (AHSE); and $335 in fines and costs. Conviction reportable to SOS. Charges of open intoxicants and operating while intoxicated were dismissed.
– Derrick Lee Maynard, 38, of 9160 Roosevelt Rd., Holton, was found guilty Feb. 3 of disorderly person – drunk and was sentenced to 90 days suspended jail with credit for two days served and $525 in fines and costs. One count of domestic violence was dismissed.
– Robert Bernard Moore, 47, of 7105 S. Driftwood, Rothbury, was found guilty Feb. 4 of disorderly person — jostling and was sentenced to 90 days suspended jail with credit for two days served; and $450 in fines and costs. One count of domestic violence was dismissed.
– Norman Leo Schultz, Jr., 61, of 7 Rankin St., Shelby, was found guilty Jan. 31 of driving while license suspended (DWLS) and was sentenced to $400 in fines and costs. Conviction reportable SOS.
– Amanda Lynn Steffes, 29, of 415 Hart St., Hart, was found guilty Jan. 30 of allowing a person to drive in violation and was sentenced to four days in jail with credit for four days served and $365 in fines and costs. One count of operating without insurance was dismissed.
– Caden Douglas Lorenz, 27, of 418 S. Union St., Hart; was found guilty Jan. 30 of failure to report an accident and was sentenced to one day in jail with credit for one day served and $460 in fines and costs. One count of failure to stop at a property damage accident was dismissed.
– Giselle Posadas De-La-Rosa, 29, of 2707 W. Lake Rd., Hart, was found guilty Feb. 3 of operating without insurance and improper possession of a firearm and was sentenced to one year suspended jail with credit for one day served; 90 days suspended jail with credit for one day served; and $850 in fines and costs. One count of carrying a concealed weapon was dismissed. Firearm has been condemned.
– Joshua Joseph Norman, 21, of 2838 E. Garfield Rd., Hesperia, was found guilty Feb. 3 of improper license and was sentenced to 90 days suspended jail with credit for three days served and $150 in fines and costs. Conviction reportable to SOS. One count of operating without insurance was dismissed. In a separate file, charges of DWLS and operating without insurance were dismissed.
– Anthony David Thompson, 33, of 1053 Dickinson Ave., Hesperia, was found guilty Dec. 3, 2019 of illegal entry and was sentenced to 90 days suspended jail with credit for one day served; restitution of $3,225; and $935 in fines, costs and restitution. One count of malicious destruction of property less than $200 was dismissed.
– David Benson Barber, Jr., 41, of 1147 W. Danville Rd., Mason, Michigan, was found guilty Feb. 3 of allowing a person under the influence of alcohol to operate and was sentenced to 93 days suspended jail with credit for two days served and $450 in fines and costs. Conviction reportable to the Secretary of State (SOS).
– Tylor Thomas Fargo, 19, of 3654 Washington Rd., Pentwater, was found guilty of allowing a person to drive in violation and was sentenced to $290 in fines and costs. One count of DWLS was dismissed.
– Patrick Wayne Wurthner, 34, of 4825 N. Wayne Rd., Pentwater, was found guilty Deb. 6 of DWLS and was sentenced to one day in jail with credit for one day served; 93 days discretionary jail; and $400 in fines and costs. Conviction reportable SOS.
– Matthew Scott Bringedahl, 31, of 4664 3rd St., New Era, was found guilty Feb. 6 of unlawful license plates and was sentenced to $265 in fines and costs. One count of improper license was dismissed.
– Dale Michael Wakefield, 26, of 1481 N. 192nd Ave., Hesperia, was found guilty Feb. 10 of allowing a person to drive in violation and was sentenced to $340 in fines and costs. One count of DWLS was dismissed.
– Bryan Allen Garnder, 25, of 16535 112th Ave., Nunica, Michigan, was found guilty Feb. 10 of operating an unregistered snowmobile and was sentenced to $215 in fines and costs.
– Randall Lee Huntley, 64, of 660 S. 176th Ave., Hesperia, was found guilty Feb. 10 of allowing a person to drive in violation and was sentenced to $340 in fines and costs. One count of violating a restricted license was dismissed.
– Carlos Eduardo Escobedo, 21, of 7874 W. Woodrow Rd., Shelby, was found guilty Feb. 10 of allowing a person to drive in violation and was sentenced to $235 in fines and costs. One count of DWLS was dismissed.
– Arturo Guereca-Juarez, 26, of 531 S. Harvey St., Shelby, was found guilty Feb. 10 of allowing a person to drive in violation and was sentenced to one day in jail with credit for one day served and $415 in fines and costs. One count improper license was dismissed.
– Michael Paul Blohm, 33, of 3127 Tahoe Trail, New Era, was found guilty Feb. 10 of failure to report an accident and was sentenced to two days in jail with credit for two days served and $420 in fines and costs.
– Nathan Norman-Michael Fairchild, 26, of 296 Church Ave., Hesperia, was found guilty Feb. 10 of embezzlement less than $200 and was sentenced to 93 days suspended jail with credit for one day served and $599 in fines, costs and restitution.
– Miguel Angel Guerrero, 38, of 204 S. State St., Shelby, was found guilty Feb. 10 of DWLS and was sentenced to two days in jail with credit for two days served and $450 in fines and costs. One count of second-offense DWLS was dismissed. Conviction reportable SOS.
– Jeffrey Alan Vanderberg, 32, of 9115 Maple St., Hesperia, was found guilty Feb. 10 of DWLS and was sentenced to one day in jail with credit for one day served and $450 in fines and costs. Conviction reportable SOS.
– David Lyn Monetza, 55, of 15370 Croswell, West Olive, Michigan, was found guilty Feb. 10 of hunting and fishing license violation and was sentenced to $225 in fines and costs. One count of excessive deer bait was dismissed.
Dismissals
– Alexandra Ann Greiner, 32, of 1370 W. Monroe Rd., Hart, one count of larceny $1,000 or more was dismissed Feb. 4.
– Deborah Lynn Weippert, 18, of 7112 Woodrow Ave., Hesperia, one count of domestic violence was dismissed Feb. 4.
– Rebecca Lee Salazar, 33, of 5677 Oneida Trail, New Era, one count of domestic violence dismissed Feb. 4.
