Poster contest celebrates Children’s Dental Health month.

HART – February is Children’s Dental Health Month, and District Health Department #10 alongside Brock A. Johnsen DDS, Hart Lake Family Dentistry, Heather Phares DDS, PC and Northwest Michigan Health Services, Inc. of Shelby are sponsoring a poster contest for Oceana County K-12 students.

All posters must be 8 ½ x 11 inches, have a student name, school name and grade written on the back of the poster to be eligible. No brand names will be allowed on the posters, and K-5 students’ posters must be vertical. One entry per student and all posters must be hand drawn — no computer-generated art will be accepted.

The deadline to turn in posters to the school is Feb. 20, 2020, and entries must be received by the deadline to be eligible.

The first place elementary (K-5) poster will be printed on bookmarks for all Oceana County elementary students, while the middle school and high school (6-12) first-place winners will each receive a $100 VISA gift card. There are additional prizes for second and third place in each division.
