78th District Court sentencings, Feb. 4, 2020.

HART — The following were sentenced recently in 78th District Court:

– Jeremy Lynn Sanderson, 37, of 409 Church St., Hart, was found guilty Jan. 17 of driving while license not valid and was sentenced to two days in jail with credit for two days served and $375 in fines and costs. Conviction reportable to the Secretary of State (SOS).

– Amanda Lynn Steffes, 29, of 1116 Brandy Lane, Ludington, was found guilty Jan. 17 of driving while license not valid and was sentenced to two days in jail with credit for two days served and $375 in fines and costs. Conviction reportable to SOS.

– Timothy Allen Houtman, 54, of 209 N. Stewart Ave., Fremont, was found guilty Jan. 16 of allowing a person to drive in violation and was sentenced to one day in jail with credit for one day served and $340 in fines and costs. One count of operating without insurance was dismissed.

– Ramon Fekken, 27, of 1969 Ray Ave., New Era, was found guilty Jan. 21 of operating without insurance and was sentenced to one year suspended jail with credit for 17 days served and $300 in fines and costs. In a separate case, he was found guilty Jan. 21 of operating an unregistered vehicle and operating without insurance.

– Douglas William Baird, 50, of 6402 E. Loop Rd., Hesperia, was found guilty Jan. 23 of hunting and fishing license violation and was sentenced to $400 in fines and costs.

– Darius Dion Jackson, 38, of 2018 Bourdon St., Muskegon, was found guilty Jan. 23 of allowing a person to drive in violation and was sentenced to $375 in fines and costs. One count of driving while license expired was dismissed.

– Michael H. Fuller, 77, of 95 Hilltop Dr., Hart, was found guilty Jan. 27 of uncased firearm in vehicle and transporting open intoxicants and was sentenced to $475 in fines and costs. Conviction reportable to SOS.

– Eric Aurillo Demorest, 34, of 8636 Nugent Ave., NE, Rockford, was found guilty Jan. 21 of operating while impaired and was sentenced to 93 days suspended jail with credit for one day served and $1,080 in fines and costs. Charges of operating with the presence of drugs, operating while intoxicated and transporting open intoxicants were dismissed. Conviction reportable to SOS.

Dismissals

– Michael Floyd Welch, 26, of 2100 Fruitvale Rd., Montague, one count of operating without insurance was dismissed Jan. 17.

– Esau Lemuel Guevara-Rodriguez, 27, of 7146 N. 120th Ave., Hart, one count of operating without insurance was dismissed Jan. 17.

– Darin Colt Cunningham, 36, of 2265 S. 186th Ave., Hesperia, one count of DWLS dismissed Jan. 23. He’s been charged with second-offense DWLS.

– Aubrey Ann Chick, 32, of 64 S. Michigan Ave., Shelby; OCSO, one count of allowing a suspended person to operate was dismissed Jan. 23. She pleaded to DWLS.

– Steven Lynn Landis, 31, of 1295 N. Water Rd., Hart, one count of disturbing the peace was dismissed Jan. 23.

– Hailey Marie Wolting (address and age not listed), one count of disturbing the peace was dismissed Jan. 21.
