Driver loses control on slushy US 31, car flips over.

GRANT TOWNSHIP — A 44-year-old New Era man received minor injuries Friday, Jan. 24, shortly before 4:30 p.m. when the 2000 Subaru Legacy he was driving “spun out of control” on northbound US 31 and overturned into a ditch, according to an Oceana County Sheriff’s Office accident report.
“He lost control of his vehicle on the slushy road,” the report stated.
The man was not transported by ambulance nor hospitalized, the report said. He was wearing a seatbelt.
