The following is recent police activity in Oceana County:

Thursday, Dec. 26, 2019:

– 10:56 p.m., (Michigan State Police), domestic assault, 6000 block of 88th Avenue, Grant Township. The report is being forwarded to the Oceana County Prosecutor’s Office for review.

Saturday, Dec. 28, 2019:

– 8:39 p.m., (Oceana County Sheriff’s Office), a 38-year-old Rothbury woman was arrested for no operator’s license, 116th Avenue, Otto Township.

– 9:10 p.m., (OCSO), a 73-year-old Rothbury man was arrested for operating while intoxicated, South 116th Avenue, Otto Township.

Sunday, Dec. 29, 2019:

– 8:21 p.m., (OCSO), child abuse and damage to property, 1300 block of East Madison Road, Crystal Township. The suspect is a 30-year-old Hart man, and the victim is an 11-year-old girl. The case is under investigation.
