The following is recent police activity in Oceana County:

Monday, Dec. 23, 2019:

– 2:05 p.m., (Oceana County Sheriff’s Office), assault and battery, West Wilke Road, Grant Township.

Tuesday, Dec. 24, 2019:

– 1:26 a.m., (Michigan State Police), a 28-year-old Hesperia man was arrested for methamphetamine possession and on a felony warrant, Maple Island Road near McKinley Road, Greenwood Township.

– 7:43 p.m., (MSP), a 47-year-old Pierson, Michigan man was arrested for operating while intoxicated (OWI), M 20 near 120th Avenue, Ferry Township.

– 11:19 p.m., (MSP), a 22-year-old New Era man was arrested for cocaine possession, operating under the influence of drugs and open intoxicants, Harvey Street near Kelly Street, Village of Shelby.

Wednesday, Dec. 25, 2019:

– 1:19 p.m., (OCSO), disturbing the peace, South Water Road, Grant Township.

Thursday, Dec. 26, 2019:

– 7:46 a.m., (MSP), a 52-year-old Grant man was arrested for failure to appear, M 20 near 124th Avenue, Ferry Township.
