Larceny investigation tops police activity.

The following is recent police activity in Oceana County:

Thursday, Dec. 19, 2019:

– 5:25 p.m., (Oceana County Sheriff’s Office), larceny of a Campbell welder valued at $200 and a Badlands wrench valued at $400, 700 block of North 176th Avenue, Leavitt Township.

– 3:15 p.m., (Michigan State Police), a 20-year-old Muskegon man was arrested for driving without insurance, Oceana Drive and Arthur Road, Grant Township.

– 10:49 p.m., (OCSO), a 37-year-old Whitehall man was arrested for driving while license suspended (DWLS), Skeels Road, Greenwood Township.

Friday, Dec. 20, 2019:

– 9:49 a.m., (OCSO) assault and battery and damage to property, West Webster Road, Grant Township.

– 10:44 a.m., (OCSO), possession of stolen property, East Filmore Road, Hart Township.

Saturday, Dec. 21, 2019:

– 7:58 p.m., (OCSO), carrying a concealed weapon and a warrant arrest, North 192nd Avenue, Colfax Township. A 29-year-old Mears man was arrested on a warrant.

Sunday, Dec. 22, 2019:

– 8:01 a.m., (OCSO), a 20-year-old Shelby man was arrested for providing false information to a police officer and failure to appear, South Sessions Road, Shelby Township.

– 9:25 p.m., (MSP), disturbance, Hancock Street, Village of Pentwater.
