WALKERVILLE — Items that were delivered to a home on East Laurel Street were reported stolen to the Oceana County Sheriff’s Office Wednesday, Dec. 18, shortly after 1 p.m.

A description of the stolen items is not immediately available, because the “porch piracy” case is under investigation, said Lt. Shane Hasty.

The following is other recent police activity in Oceana County:

Monday, Dec. 16, 2019:

– 1:08 a.m., (Michigan State Police), domestic assault, under investigation, 9000 block of Roosevelt Road, Greenwood Township.

– 3:34 a.m., (MSP), a 28-year-old Holland, Michigan woman was arrested on a fugitive warrant, 9000 block of East Roosevelt Road, Greenwood Township.

– 2 p.m., (MSP), a 21-year-old Muskegon man was arrested for driving without a license and driving without insurance, McKinley Road and 116th Avenue, Otto Township.

Tuesday, Dec. 17, 2019:

– 12:20 p.m., (Oceana County Sheriff’s Office), larceny, West Buchanan Road, Shelby Township.

– 12:56 p.m., (OCSO), gas drive-off, $25 in fuel stolen, Wishing Well, North Business Route US 31, Pentwater Township.

– 3:52 p.m., (OCSO), a 28-year-old Walkerville man was arrested for assault, East Deer Road, Leavitt Township.

– 9:37 p.m., (OCSO), a 27-year-old Shelby man was arrested on a warrant, and a 29-year-old Shelby woman was attempting to harbor the fugitive, Chapita Hills, Village of Shelby.

– 9:58 p.m., (OCSO), a 67-year-old Shelby man was arrested for driving while license suspended (DWLS) and failure to appear, South Oceana Drive, Shelby Township.

Wednesday, Dec. 18, 2019:

– 6:33 a.m., (OCSO), a 49-year-old Shelby man was arrested for improper use of a license plate, no license, no insurance and failure to appear, South Oceana Drive, Shelby Township.

– 8:35 a.m,. (MSP), one-vehicle crash, no injuries, 192nd Avenue and Hawley Road, Newfield Township.

– 1:45 p.m., (OCSO), larceny, West Polk Road, Hart Township.

Thursday, Dec. 19, 2019:

– 1:50 a.m., (MSP), a 20-year-old Hesperia man was arrested for DWLS and on a fugitive warrant, Weaver Road and State Street, Village of Hesperia.
